Our Family Musical Adventures
PROGRAM SYNOPSIS – The “Wee Noteables” are three lovable characters who, with their wise old puppet companion Dragoon who take our audience of youngsters and their families on grand adventures in fast paced, music and dance programs. Highly interactive, our shows offer families with children of all ages a huge entertainment value. Each audience member will walk away having learned a festive dance, an American Sign Language sign, how to say “Hello” in different languages and impulsively humming tunes to our memorable original songs.
“Music Takes Flight” - Spring - Fall 2013 In this popular adventure, our three lovable characters return to take flight to outer space. During their “imagined” journey, they meet some friendly alien (puppets) and discover that we’re not so different after all. Dolly, Frank, Pockets and Dragoon learn that music is FUN and that how we choose to look at things has everything to do with how we feel and what we are able to accomplish. This witty program returns to the stage for the first time since its premiere season three years ago. "Music Takes Flight" also includes new original music and, as always, promises to delight the entire family.
"Wee Be Green" - March 2012 - February 2013 Season The Wee Noteables take us on a fun musical afternoon in the sun that highlights the importance of respecting Mother Nature and the role we play in making our world (or our backyard) a better place. The Wee Noteable's misguided adventure begins when one of them mistakes “going green” as launching a voyage to Ireland to find Leprechauns and a pot of gold. After a few left turns and some laughs and songs with Dragoon the puppet, our characters set about creating a new home for their little buddy, Wendal the Earth Worm. Along the way, children will be capitivated by a unique and humerous pantomime performance as our characters proceed to dig in and planting a tree. Through the original songs and dance, children will "Rejoice - ReCycle - Reuse" sing to "Nature's Harmony" and get a little boost to their self-esteem through learning to believe and "Dance Your Dream." This new program runs March 2012 through February 2013.
DOLLY (The Dreamer) - Dolly ‘the Dreamer’ is a fanciful girl whose vision is the source of many grand adventures. She is light-hearted and carefree in her absolute conviction that all is right with the world, you can do anything and be anyone …but it is all best done while wearing her favorite color…. pink!
FRANK (Frankly Frank) - Frank…is “Frankly-Frank”…very grounded and realistic about the world he sees. He is cautious and thorough…always plays by the rules and yet is Dolly’s biggest fan. Frank is also very caring and attentive, surprisingly heroic, and a bit of a mother hen.
POCKETS - The balance of this trio comes in the form of a confident and playful ageless girl named Pockets. She is what is often described as “an old soul” being wise beyond her years. She is often the jester and yet the one who quite innocently presents the solutions throughout the quests and adventures of our characters. The answers just seem to be at her feet... or come out of her large pockets which are the most noticeable part of her colorful overalls.
"Wee Around the World" - On this adventure, the Wee Noteables encounter Dragon puppet friends all around the world. Together they discover cultural differences and learn that friends come in all shapes and sizes.
"Wee Under the Sea" - An underwater musical adventure featuring a myriad of new aquatic puppet friends who help illustrate the importance of friendship and diversity.
"A Wee Safari" - Yet another Wee musical adventure, this time to the Serengeti, where our heros help to save endangered (puppet) species of wild Africa.
